It’s not a major revelation to say that I travel… a lot.  Over the past ten years I have flown over a million kilometers, which is equivalent to flying twenty-five times around the globe, or to the moon and back (and halfway there again).  This happened over four-hundred flights with more than two months – day and night – up in the air.  I’ve been as far north as Iceland, down south to South Africa, east to Seoul and west to San Francisco.

This has to be one of the most fun activities for a family: on horseback through the woods.  The weather was beautiful and so was the place.  The people (and animals) at the Riding Centre were very welcoming, which made the afternoon even more pleasant.  They managed to fit us in on a busy day , which was just as well since I had already promised the kids.

My best friend invited me to the stables to watch some show-jumping and take a few snaps.  The races were moved to the Equestrian Club, so we only saw the resting horses where we were.  I took a few photographs of the horses in the dark stables, but without a flash and very low light, this was the most interesting worth sharing.

It’s a nice place all round with a great feel of professionalism.  I hope to find some time to go again to take some ‘action’ shots.
