I was standing in the cold trying to get the right settings on my camera; and without a tripod, I had to use a flat surface nearby to keep the camera steady.  While doing all of this to get “the perfect shot”, this guy stops walking, takes out his camera, points, shoots and walks on!

When I looked at this photograph later, I really liked it.

A few months ago I cleaned my father’s old camera and serviced it fully ready for use.  I wanted to bring it London where he bought it over thirty years ago – and take some memorable shots with it.

I’m sure you will agree that the result is not disappointing.  I was happy with quite a few shots.  This one was by far my favourite.

Big Ben is apparently the name of the bell in the clock.  I didn’t know that!
