I was very pleased to see an event like this hosted in Kuwait.  Unfortunately, on my two attempts of going in to get some shots of the masterpieces, I was unsuccessful. The following weekend would have been the perfect time to return, but I was busy and a little discouraged.  Organisers: Next time… please ensure the security staff are informed of opening times!  The correct opening times.

I was testing the cameras for light levels and white balance.  I found these shots on the memory cards and wanted to share them with you.  These cars were displayed by enthusiasts outside the vintage section.  It was raining that morning and the owners were busy trying to make them presentable.

Well done Kuwait… We need more such events in our beautiful city.  More information on the Concours d’Elegance here.

  1. Ah…nice to know there are international events like this around! Even though I am totally blind with cars. 🙂 Rain makes the harbor looks poetic beautiful! Looking forward to this…

    • Marina Crescent is a nice area with cafes and restaurants…

Oooh…that is attractive after a stressful transition…don’t really care about the temperature at all… 5 more months…

  2. The usual, Bu Yousef, nothing but the best from you camera. Don’t be upset for the mix up in not letting you going in. You know very well that beauty is everywhere, you just need to notice it and capture it with your camera.

    • Indeed.
Thank you for the nice comment too 🙂

  3. Great pictures! I heard it was a great event! Too bad I missed it!
