I’m out of the snow and back home today. It’s around 20ºc in Kuwait, which is a welcomed change for me. This was London yesterday. I woke up to a white blanket all over London Town. Lucky my flight was late evening, and the weather calmed down considrable, Apart from a twenty minute delay for de-icing, the rest of the flight was perfect.
I leave you with my last snow shots (at least for now) – ending with the statue of Nelson Mandela. This was erected in August 2007 and, unbelievably, this is my first shot of it.

Love the Madiba statue, but I really laughed at the cute photo of the goose/duck (?)
Great shots.
The goose is hilarious. Awesome shot.
It is too warm in Calgary (6 degree!), and the cute Alberta Geese flew over to Britain with the storm and the beaks turned to yellow. 🙂
Snow is enormously great, either slushy or powder. Everything seems quieted and cleansed.
The goose is greeting you …so funny
My best picture is Number 4
