This is a lovely place with a long history of wine. White wine to be precise. We spent two days here for a Sales Meeting. I wish it was a warmer time of year to get a feel of just how the locals do business. The temperature was 2°C and the ground covered in frost.

Obviously I don’t know anything about wine but I’m told it’s something special from this North Burgundy region.

Schmap chose this photograph to use on their online guide. I was particularly happy that it was a Paris photo – a city that is photographed by everyone who visits and one that is represented on flickr with thousands of examples.

It went live on 14 January 2008 and it made me realise the importance of perspective, and shooting angles, to create interest.

This city has got to be the most beautiful in the world. I love how everything comes together. If you walk around, you will not be bored… and if like me you enjoy sitting at cafes (yes – instead of walking)… there is at least one on every street and another on the corner.
