I just love your photos. The title of this post certainly caught my attention, — “drive by shooting” has a whole different meaning here in Los Angeles, LOL.

My aunt used to live in Cairo and these photos brought back a lot of memories especially the 4th photo — pleasant memories. I can almost remember the smells and noise of the streets.

Survival of the smartest is an interesting concept… here unfortunately it’s the more of a crook one is – the more likely he is to be visitor-facing.

They need to overhaul the whole thing! However, something tells me they won’t do it for years to come.

strongly reminds me of India, especially places where there is a mixture of the old and the new. Both exist harmoniously though!!
and about the attitude or the disposition of certain section of people, was wondering, and concluded, that its primarily the result of a scenario where ‘survival of the smartest’ works best!! where the need is more than what is available, people are driven to make the most of what is available.i would think its more to do with the background, and i mebe entirely wrong too!
