I’ve been visiting Sens every second month since this time last year.  My company’s head office and manufacturing plant are based here.  This small pretty town 1½ hours south (south eastish) of Paris is home to approximately 40000 people.  I don’t usually get a chance to walk around with my camera – and this trip is no exception.  The day is spent at the office, lunch with colleagues and dinner is usually with visitors.

The above photograph was taken the day I arrived, when I had some free time after the drive from the airport.  This wonderful promenade encircles the whole city.  The end of this beautiful row of trees is the river Yonne.

I love EVERYTHING about this photograph; the composition, the colour, the light, and the sense of quiet. Well, apart from the car going past!
